So you know the story. Vidya lives a good life with her dad, mom, brother and best friend. Her dad promises to her that she can go to college. Untell Her Dad gets brain damadged, and doesnt remember anything. You know She and her family had to move to her dads brothers house, were They treat woman like slaves. But you dont know much about Ramen. He is at first a mysterious person who Vidya first notices when he stands up for her and her right to go up stairs to the Library. He is a smart guy who went to college and tell Vidya he is going to move to america. He wants to marrty her, but he asks Thatha first, and Vidya is mad at him about that. After Thatha says Vidya can go to college. She feels bad for Ramen and says she'll marry him, after she goes to college.

4. Who Vidya is: A free spirited girl who dreams of going to college, and then sharing her knowledge with other woman who cant afford college.
Who Kita is: A bold woung boy who is nice and wants to join the army.
Who Amma is: A frail housewife who lives to cook and be with her husband.
Who Appa was: Strong, bold, man who treated woman like equals. He was a doctor, and a volenteer doctor for the protesters.
Who Thatha is: I kind old man who grants Vidyas wishs.
Who Ramen is: A nice man who almost always treats woman like equal, who likes Vidya, more than just friends.
Who Periamma is: A cruel woman who lives to serve the men, who atually believe herself as a server to the men.
Who Periappa is: A cruel old man who treats woman like crap, and lives to eat and critisise.

Brain dead and crazy, Vidyas father has no hope of recovering. And vidya and her amma (mom) and brother Kina are forsed to move in with her cruel Periappa (uncle) whos house is full of other relatives, and woman are slaves to there wifes. New year resilutions 2011-

Three things I want to do better this year is 1. Better dentale care. 2. Better care of chores and pets. 3. Eat less chocolate and more fruits and vegies. Thats what I want to get better at this year in 2011!
